Nikki and Mark invited me into their home to capture some family portraits with their second son, Alfie who is now 9 months old. I truely feel so privileged to capture these moments and I can honestly say that I had sooo much fun! One of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was the 3-year-old Thomas, who is such a character, I just love how much energy he has! We started the session jumping on the trampoline, then we went up to explore the bedrooms (how cool is this car bed?!) and we finished with the Dr Seuss book so we could all wind down. It was sooo sweet how at the end of the session Thomas asked me “What? You have to go already? But I want you to stay!” He certainly knows already how to melt a lady’s heart!! 😀
As you can see, anything can happen during a session at home, and that is why I love lifestyle photography so much, it’s fun and the children (and adults) can just be themselves. It’s truely precious to capture those real moments!
